Bad Cat Double Drive Pedal Review 2 Circuits in 1
Double Drive is a game-changing, double-sided, and stackable distortion pedal inspired by Bad Cat's legendary Siamese overdrive stompbox. This powerhouse can be the ultimate gain-stage centerpiece for your pedalboard. Featuring two independent circuits, the Double Drive delivers an impressive range of tones, from a light "edge of breakup" boost to a ferocious high-gain roar.
With its two circuits, you can transform your setup in countless ways. Set your amp clean and use one side to push the preamp into a saturated crunch while configuring the other for a heavy, fluid overdrive by cranking up its gain control. Essentially, this pedal can turn any single-channel amplifier into a versatile 3-channel machine!
For an even more dynamic sound, engage both circuits simultaneously to achieve an aggressive, stacked overdrive. This creates a gritty, subtly-compressed distortion that is rich in gain and harmonic content. The Double Drive's flexibility means you have complete control over your tone, making it an indispensable tool for any guitarist seeking to expand their sonic palette. Get your hands on the Bad Cat Double Drive and redefine your sound today!
